The supporters of Unidad de Matanza booed when MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Delfino came free, but Cipriano Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Unidad de Matanza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iwo Fujara fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 14 minutes of play, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Nicolas Che made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Raymond was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iwo Fujara kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Reynaldo Rios scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Lorien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 25 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Elivareo. After some careless play in the MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN defense, Reynaldo Rios kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Lorien. The MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Lorien should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute of the match, Daniel Madeo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Octavio Raymond was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emanuel Bakar got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gervasio Galo. After the first half Unidad de Matanza were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Daniel Madeo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Octavio Raymond didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Johan Lidman went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Octavio Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Lidman in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Reynaldo Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Lorien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's Isidro Moise managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emanuel Bakar in the 67 minute of the game. In the 70th minute of the match, Reynaldo Rios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cipriano Lorien saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 79 minutes, Segundo Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Segundo Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Reynaldo Rios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cipriano Lorien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jacobo Txema hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Elvio Urtungo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Octavio Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Lidman in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN's goalkeeper Cipriano Lorien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Segundo Delfino. Unidad de Matanza were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN to leave the ground with a draw.
