U21 Totoras F.C.'s Paulo Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Corderun in the 4th minute of play. Augusto Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Corderun in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Ugutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Yo Soy Tu Padre fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Yo Soy Tu Padre's Carmelo Corderun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st minute, Segundo Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Tiburcio Haimar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nery Pumpido but with some difficulty. In the 23rd minute, Geovanny Fuertehijar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfréd Marton in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Corderun in the 30th minute of play forced U21 Totoras F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Paulo Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Mosen in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Carmelo Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute of the match U21 Totoras F.C. got a corner. Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiburcio Haimar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 67th match minute, U21 Totoras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Viator to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Ugutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Geovanny Fuertehijar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Miguel Lehoi got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Edur in the 86th minute of play forced Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Nery Pumpido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Edur came free, but Nery Pumpido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Corderun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Paulo Ugutz made a huge save. The U21 Totoras F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Yo Soy Tu Padre to win.
