The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mauricio Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Benat in the 10th minute of the match. Mauricio Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Millano in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Atletic Elooo defense, Baltasar Millano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Nesor. The Atletic Elooo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Nesor should have stopped the shot. Prospero Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Oinaz's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Leonel Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, 17 de enero team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Estebano to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardo Benat to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Benat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauricio Nesor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Txema during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Jaime Txema hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Leonel Oinaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Matxin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Emiliano Tohias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Honorio Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Matxin having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the 17 de enero team players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atletic Elooo.
