Línea Rotativa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Federico Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A. Línea Rotativa's Carmelo Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Oidor in the 6th minute of play. After taking down the ball on C.A. Línea Rotativa's corner Carlos Hunfredo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Catalano quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute, Leonel Veto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Oidor in the 15th minute of the match. Placido Sotil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Español's Victor Oidor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Acevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Pedro Catalano made a huge save. Club Deportivo Español's Pedro Catalano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Oidor made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Oidor in the 53rd minute of play forced C.A. Línea Rotativa's goalkeeper Carmelo Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Osorio came free, but Pedro Catalano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Mariano Gutierrez got a free kick in the 61st minute. Carmelo Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, C.A. Línea Rotativa's Carmelo Acevedo got control of the ball when Victor Oidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Club Deportivo Español's Luis Timo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carmelo Acevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Deportivo Español reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Club Deportivo Español had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
