Victor Oidor started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Heli in the 10th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez Quarta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Lapač's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo Español's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Lapač helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Daniel Lapač got a free kick in the 13th minute. Victor Oidor took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Roberto Jacob kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Roberto Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes of play Yo Soy Tu Padre's Daniel Lapač was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Yo Soy Tu Padre getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Daniel Lapač hit a great ball. Victor Oidor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Nery Pumpido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emiliano Martínez Quarta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Maureo. Nery Pumpido was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Primitivo Hermon. After 36 minutes, Herminio Maureo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Yo Soy Tu Padre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herminio Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Emiliano Martínez Quarta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Mosen in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Mosen in the 38th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez Quarta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nery Pumpido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Oidor in the 42nd minute. If Carmelo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 44th minute of the match Herminio Maureo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Herminio Maureo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 45 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Maureo. Mariano Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Club Deportivo Español's Emiliano Martínez Quarta got control of the ball when Ermegildo Su tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yo Soy Tu Padre's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Gutierrez in the 56th minute of play. Gregorio Cordarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Martínez Quarta having to make a save. After 62 minutes, Mariano Gutierrez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Deportivo Español and the Yo Soy Tu Padre players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Español's Mariano Gutierrez got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Corderun in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Martínez Quarta saved Club Deportivo Español from getting behind. Emiliano Martínez Quarta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Mosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Cordarin got free with Emiliano Martínez Quarta in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Yo Soy Tu Padre's Carmelo Corderun fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Adan Eufrasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match, Gregorio Cordarin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Martínez Quarta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Yo Soy Tu Padre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justino Heli in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Justino Heli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emiliano Martínez Quarta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Yo Soy Tu Padre booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Eufrasio's late challenge caught a Yo Soy Tu Padre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adan Eufrasio helped the player get up and apologised. Emiliano Martínez Quarta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Heli. In the 95th minute, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Carmelo Corderun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Martínez Quarta. Emiliano Martínez Quarta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Despite being the better team, Yo Soy Tu Padre failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
