The TheBambiTooFurious fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Dei should have stopped the shot. Paulino Dei didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Alejandra's Jaime Herrera shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Ildefonso Caton with Valentin Xacintu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Abelardo Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Abelardo Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. TheBambiTooFurious's Arnaldo Quinteros got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Herrera in the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half Alejandra were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Herrera got free with Paulino Dei in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ildefonso Caton made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fernando Bartolome immediately put the ball in play. Jaime Herrera had several of the TheBambiTooFurious's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Paulino Dei as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jaime Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Dei having to interfere. When Ciriaco Haritz fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TheBambiTooFurious's protests and gave Ciriaco Haritz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Ciriaco Haritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulino Dei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Herrera in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Alejandra's Elias Fonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Dei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 83 minutes of play, TheBambiTooFurious's Silverio Ricart made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Sandaili was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th match minute, Alejandra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Fonso to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Ricart in the 95th minute of play forced Alejandra's goalkeeper Melquiades Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alejandra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alejandra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
