The Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eloy Vermudo should have stopped the shot. Eloy Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tomas Nayely got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Orlando Elija. POSSE 1911 FC's Zeledon Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Jon to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Venancio Dimas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes POSSE 1911 FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Xabel. Venancio Dimas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eloy Vermudo. Eloy Vermudo came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by POSSE 1911 FC's Zeledon Madaleno. But to his dismay, Zeledon Madaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18 getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Tomas Nayely hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Elija made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Zeledon Madaleno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eloy Vermudo skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18's Orlando Elija got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ren&Fel C.A.R.P. 09-12-18's zone, Godfredo Xabel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Vermudo came out of the goal and Godfredo Xabel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Godfredo Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godfredo Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Barrionuevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
