Supernadie's Eliseo Aureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ekialde in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Bartoli came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Supernadie's Eriberto Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Ernesto Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Maidana. 36 minutes into the game, Abelardo Bartoli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supernadie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezia FC the free kick. If Tito Ramírez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 minutes, Julian Ekialde mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia FC and the Supernadie players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezia FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Julian Ekialde hit a great ball. When Jorge Fortun fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Supernadie's protests and gave Jorge Fortun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Supernadie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Fortun to maneuver through the defense. Julian Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Eliseo Aureo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Luis Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Supernadie's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Abbondanzieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tito Ramírez took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Eliseo Aureo to make any attempt to save it. Tito Ramírez kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Eriberto Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Supernadie defense, Julian Ekialde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Aureo. The Supernadie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Aureo should have stopped the shot. When Damian Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Supernadie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. Supernadie's Eliseo Aureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Supernadie from getting a goal against them. Julian Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Aureo having to interfere. Jorge Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
