Victoriano Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tsubasa Ozora in the 17th minute of play. Venezia FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximino Guillerme in the 18th minute. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Cabezones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Froylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Guillerme got free with Victoriano Eate in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. Tito Ramírez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victoriano Eate. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tito Ramírez ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Oso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Ekialde struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Victoriano Eate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezia FC. Duran Hunalp came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roberto Abbondanzieri could save by the left post. In the 92nd match minute, Cabezones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duran Hunalp to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cabezones getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valentin Fernado hit a great ball. After 94 minutes, Julian Ekialde mouthed his way into the referee's book.
