Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) When Rodrigo Cugat came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Cugat couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Cugat came free, but Venancio Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match Marcos Santiago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Venancio Madaleno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venancio Madaleno made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Roman Clis sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Cugat in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Madaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaudencio Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Rodrigo Cugat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Venancio Madaleno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Cugat. Octavio Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ramiro Gizon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIRICOCHO FC. Francisco Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, KIRICOCHO FC's Leonel Rolado got a free kick in the 30th minute. KIRICOCHO FC's Venancio Madaleno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. Rodrigo Cugat hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Ramiro Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Pagomari in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

KIRICOCHO FC's Venancio Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Cugat in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Samuel Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Cugat came free, but Venancio Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Santiago didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Francisco Frisco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramiro Gizon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Venancio Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Cordareo in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in KIRICOCHO FC's zone, Rodrigo Cugat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Madaleno came out of the goal and Rodrigo Cugat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Santiago in the 81st minute of play forced KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Venancio Madaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Venancio Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Cugat in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Madaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Moises Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 90 played minutes ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Urbasa. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
