The corner led to Club Sportivo Italiano's Jesus Frichoso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Magicos were furious when Saturnino Jon was red carded, 19 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Magicos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Jesus Frichoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hercule Couret. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Frichoso ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Magicos's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Frichoso came free, but Hercule Couret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Romo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hercule Couret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sportivo Italiano. Magicos's Hercule Couret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Romo in the 32nd minute of play. Hercule Couret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Frichoso in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Jesus Frichoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Magicos's Hercule Couret was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Club Sportivo Italiano were awarded a corner. Natalio Louis went to the cornerflag to take it. Club Sportivo Italiano's Natalio Louis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hercule Couret in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 38th minute, Saturnino Valente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafael Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Jakue in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Club Sportivo Italiano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Justo Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hercule Couret having to interfere. If Cecilio Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Jesus Frichoso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hercule Couret. The goal made the score 0-2. With an all-out effort, Club Sportivo Italiano's Hercule Couret threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jesus Frichoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 68 minutes, Elvio Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Italiano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Machado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Nunez Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Frichoso in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hercule Couret saved Magicos from getting behind. Hercule Couret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jesus Frichoso's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Frichoso in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hercule Couret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moises Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Nunez Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Magicos's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Frichoso came free, but Hercule Couret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Magicos booed when Club Sportivo Italiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jesus Frichoso came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Club Sportivo Italiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Frichoso couldn't finish the play.
