Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) RB Chubut's Jurand Deput started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. RB Chubut's Jurand Deput got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Gabríel Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arsenio Aballe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Ezequiel Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Stone City defense, Jurand Deput kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsenio Aballe. The Stone City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsenio Aballe should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Valentin Baristo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Lucian. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jurand Deput managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Chubut's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurand Deput was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Aballe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin Calixto hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Arsenio Aballe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jurand Deput's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After 39 minutes of play, RB Chubut's Jurand Deput made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsenio Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! RB Chubut's attentive Juan Sorin managed to snatch the ball when Ezequiel Sein made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Jurand Deput left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Chubut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Jurand Deput had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RB Chubut made a substitution. Isaac Mingo replaced Jurand Deput. The Stone City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RB Chubut were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Calixto to make the kick off. After 65 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Duarte. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Mingo got free with Arsenio Aballe in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Gabríel Batistuta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arsenio Aballe. The goal made the score 0-6. Stone City's Fernan Galo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Sorin in the 75 minute of the game. Arsenio Aballe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabríel Batistuta in the 76th minute. Isaac Mingo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, RB Chubut's Gabríel Batistuta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arsenio Aballe. Arsenio Aballe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 95 minutes into the match, Maximino Aimar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsenio Aballe. Stone City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Aimar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded RB Chubut left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stone City.
