RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Izquierdo in the 5th minute of play. Jurand Deput's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Izquierdo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. RB Chubut's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aaron Anselmino in the 8th minute. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Izquierdo in the 15th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Jurand Deput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martín Izquierdo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. RB Chubut's Maximino Aimar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ruperto Porfirio, made in the 70th minute of the game. Valentin Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Izquierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Martin Palermo F.C. got a corner. RB Chubut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benjamin Izquierdo ran over to the corner to take the kick. RB Chubut succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Martin Palermo F.C. had controlled the match.
