Eurelijus Sutkus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernabe Hanot firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the SABALEPLUS defense, Eurelijus Sutkus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Hanot. The SABALEPLUS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Hanot should have stopped the shot. The supporters of SABALEPLUS booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Tolino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club's Juan Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Tab in the 20th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Tab came free, but Juan Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Seme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Tab in the 33rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Juan Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Bernabe Hanot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernabe Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurelijus Sutkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jairo Tab stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Ferrando in the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SABALEPLUS's zone, Eurelijus Sutkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Hanot came out of the goal and Eurelijus Sutkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SABALEPLUS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Teobaldo Mikeldi hit a great ball. Eurelijus Sutkus struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bernabe Hanot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. After 58 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Ramond. When Eurelijus Sutkus came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eurelijus Sutkus couldn't finish the play. Racing Club made a substitution. Dionisio Romano replaced Isidoro Celino. With an all-out effort, SABALEPLUS's Juan Seme threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Estevez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Racing Club were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after SABALEPLUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dionisio Romano took the corner. Godofredo Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Eurelijus Sutkus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Estevez in the 93rd minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Juan Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Racing Club had won after a very even match.
