Los Diablos Rojos's Doug Bermudez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's zone, Doug Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Espiridion came out of the goal and Doug Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doug Bermudez got free with Laureano Espiridion in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Roque Adrio got a free kick in the 17th minute. Laureano Espiridion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Roque Adrio hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goal looked a bit too open when Doug Bermudez came free, but Laureano Espiridion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Diablos Rojos's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Doug Bermudez was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. 27 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goalkeeper Laureano Espiridion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doug Bermudez. When Roque Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Adrio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Los Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Teodoro Hernandez hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Roque Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Espiridion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doug Bermudez in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doug Bermudez made a kick off. Roberto Acevedo struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Rogelio Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS. If Fragiskos Koukoulekis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Doug Bermudez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Espiridion. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doug Bermudez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 59th minute Jaime Reno suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Sergio Goizeder was substituted for Jaime Reno. Teodoro Hernandez hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Rogelio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Adrio struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rogelio Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doug Bermudez in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laureano Espiridion prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laureano Espiridion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fragiskos Koukoulekis in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Doug Bermudez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Espiridion. Los Diablos Rojos's Rogelio Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Diablos Rojos from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Doug Bermudez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Espiridion was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Rogelio Barbosa came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's Roque Adrio. But to his dismay, Roque Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.
