Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Otsando kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the game Feliberto Urre made a throw-in which Diego Nafarroa played forward. After 7 minutes, Atilano Otsando made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Messina's Javier Roderigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10thth minute of the game Atilano Otsando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Messina's Javier Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Atilano Otsando put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Roderigo. Diego Nafarroa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Roderigo. Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 19th minute, Atilano Otsando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Atilano Otsando reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Roderigo. The goal made the score 3-0. Atilano Otsandos short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Javier Roderigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Atilano Otsando put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Roderigo. If Diego Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Messina's Paolo Mantzio got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Atilano Otsando got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Silvano Todor kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Deportivo Messina got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Atarratze. Herminio Cordeiro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

53 minutes into the game, Atilano Otsando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Javier Roderigo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 61 minutes, Atilano Otsando made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Deportivo Messina's Javier Roderigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Atilano Otsando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Roderigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Javier Roderigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Rozarius in the 70th minute of the match. Javier Roderigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Otsando's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jacobo Cortez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Sabin in the 91st minute of play forced Deportivo Messina's goalkeeper Javier Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Messina's Paolo Mantzio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvano Todor in the 93 minute of the game. Javier Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Otsando in the 95th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilano Otsando in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Roderigo saved Deportivo Messina from getting behind. In the 97th minute Atilano Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Challacó fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Messina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
