The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Celestino Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Club Floresta Manda booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Felix Gaitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Oidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Club Floresta Manda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Gudesteo to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Fabian Gudesteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Anier Oidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Oidor should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Toro in the 81st minute of play forced Club Floresta Manda's goalkeeper Filomeno Rioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Floresta Manda fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Club Floresta Manda's Fabian Gudesteo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
