The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Abeitia came free, but Edelmiro Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Fabio Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nicasio Naelio hit a great ball. Edelmiro Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lisandro Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Almeyra F.C.'s Gaspar Gitano got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Nicolas Lorien sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Ticho skillfully saved the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Celedonio Xabat notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Temperley's Claudio Frances. Claudio Frances was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudio Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Claudio Frances didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almeyra F.C.. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Baldomero Sadurni hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Temperley's Nicasio Naelio got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Claudio Frances had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Xabat. Claudio Frances showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Xabat in the 30th minute of the match. Anier Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Claudio Frances tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Vito came free, but Edelmiro Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Atlético Temperley's Claudio Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Xabat in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braulio Vito was the one to do the kick off. Claudio Frances took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Temperley's Claudio Frances played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Xabat in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s Urbano Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudio Frances narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Frances having to interfere. Celedonio Xabat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Frances having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Gaspar Gitano made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Frances. Club Atlético Temperley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 66 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Xabat came free, but Claudio Frances reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atlético Temperley booed when Almeyra F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Nicolas Lorien in the 73rd minute really tested Edelmiro Ticho's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Xabat in the 77th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Claudio Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celedonio Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Xabat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Frances read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Almeyra F.C.'s Celedonio Xabat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Frances made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almeyra F.C. had played much better football throughout.
