The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Leonardo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Ugutz in the 6th minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Donato Nuxila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Lordi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Jedi Knights's Leonardo Arias got a free kick in the 14th minute. Zeledon Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Sagrario, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Quilmes's zone, Tiburcio Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christopher Hawthorne came out of the goal and Tiburcio Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Ugutz came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Lordi came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes's Donato Nuxila. But to his dismay, Donato Nuxila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Nuxila in the 33rd minute of play forced Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Nuxila came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Lordi having to interfere. Edgardo Ugutz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Lordi. Zeledon Lordi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Albano Ruisko got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Quilmes made a substitution. Rodrigo Delfino replaced Donato Nuxila. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Sagrario to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Arias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Jedi Knights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Aragones to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Albano Ruisko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quilmes and the Jedi Knights players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albano Ruisko kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Quilmes booed when Jedi Knights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Montez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Lordi having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goal looked a bit too open when Terry Jones came free, but Zeledon Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jones in the 77th minute of play. Zeledon Lordi had great luck who in the 81stth minute grab hold of the ball when Geronimo Sagrario from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Jedi Knights's Timoteo Aragones got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Jedi Knights's goalkeeper Zeledon Lordi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Delfino. In the 85th minute, Rodrigo Delfino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilmes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a rather tough play, Jedi Knights's Everardo Aritza got a free kick in the 89th minute. Geronimo Sagrario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Zeledon Lordi made a huge save.
