Vladimiro Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santiago Bento hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Geronimo Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Maules short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Domingos Leizarraga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, CSD Pte Derqui's Santiago Bento got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, one of CSD Pte Derqui:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CSD Pte Derqui. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Alvoha FC's Enzo Froylan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Domingos Leizarraga. After some careless play in the Alvoha FC defense, Tobias Cloyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Garaile. The Alvoha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Garaile should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Maule to make the kick off.
