The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Frans got free with Paolo Abastas in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Ademar Castro notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Quebracho FC's Paolo Abastas. Paolo Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacinto Eate hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Enzo Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Frans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Abastas having to make a save. Apolo Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ivan Rami made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Quebracho FC got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Ubelteso. Cai Bing Cheng took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paolo Abastas. Quebracho FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paolo Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramón Ponce's late challenge caught a Quebracho FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Ponce helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Quebracho FC booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Ponce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Frans scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Candela FC made a substitution. Jeremias Bide replaced Alcides Silveira. Teodosio Frans scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Quebracho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Abastas should have stopped the shot. Paolo Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Frans in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Candela FC fully deserved thier win.
