An unexpectedly hard shot by Axl Rose in the 7th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Howling Dawn U18's zone, Jonatan Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santos Hori came out of the goal and Jonatan Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Errecaborda AFC's Santos Hori threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonatan Ursino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 18 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goalkeeper Santos Hori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Venceslao. In the 19th minute, Nestor Vellito had to leave the field with a concussion. Ildefonso Guter's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Guter helped the player get up and apologised. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Amadeo Chuse replaced Nestor Vellito. 22 minutes into the match, Axl Rose notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Errecaborda AFC's Gustavo Sauveur. Gustavo Sauveur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Howling Dawn U18 fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Howling Dawn U18's Cyprian Henryk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Astor Manilan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Sauveur having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axl Rose in the 31st minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axl Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Howling Dawn U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Venceslao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Axl Rose fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Sauveur having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Errecaborda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Eztebe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Henryk in the 63rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Venceslao hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Santos Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Chuse in the 68th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Chuse came free, but Santos Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's Gustavo Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyprian Henryk in the 75th minute of play. Howling Dawn U18's Juan Bittor was substituted for Axl Rose. If Jonatan Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Ursino in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Scott Weiland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Sauveur was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Scott Weiland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Marcelo Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Errecaborda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santos Hori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Howling Dawn U18 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
