The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, El Colesterol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Guerau came free, but Nereo Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Liher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvarez Håland, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Alvarez Håland in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Colesterol FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute Andres Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Nereo Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alvarez Håland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvarez Håland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Liher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Keuken in the 22nd minute of play. After 26 minutes El Colesterol FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alfredo Mon who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Alfredo Mon to fire away a dangerous shot which Nereo Liher despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 32 played minutes El Colesterol FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Abella. The audience was convinced that Andres Guerau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nereo Liher was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Andres Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nereo Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Keuken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Liher having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvarez Håland in the 41st minute of play forced El Colesterol FC's goalkeeper Nereo Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Dennis Keuken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Keuken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Liher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the El Colesterol FC defense, Alvarez Håland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Liher. The El Colesterol FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Liher should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Cornelio Domeka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Colesterol FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club the free kick. Ismael Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nereo Liher was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfredo Mon. Alvarez Håland kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Alvarez Håland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Dario Abella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nereo Liher. That made the score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Andres Guerau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Liher narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ismael Abella hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Andres Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Keuken in the 80th minute of play forced El Colesterol FC's goalkeeper Nereo Liher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvarez Håland got free with Nereo Liher in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club booed when El Colesterol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alvarez Håland came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvarez Håland couldn't finish the play. Dennis Keuken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nereo Liher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th play minute Alvarez Håland came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nereo Liher. 1-4. Andres Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Liher having to interfere. The supporters of Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club booed when El Colesterol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, El Colesterol FC's Nereo Liher got control of the ball when Alvarez Håland tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
