With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Padro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fcion C.A.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ignacio Guillelme in the 17th minute. Ignacio Guillelme made a great header on Fcion C.A.'s corner, it was just that Mercedes's Samuel Padro managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mercedes's Samuel Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Guillelme in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Everardo Nesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samuel Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Guillelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Americo Ramone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mercedes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Guillelme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Samuel Padro came out of the goal and Abelardo Perico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Bilintx in the 65th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Samuel Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes of play Mercedes's Everardo Nesor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Everardo Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Samuel Padro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Pastor Dei. In the 71st minute, Mercedes's Ladislao Turi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ladislao Turi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mercedes protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ladislao Turi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 72nd match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Turi to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Ignacio Guillelme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Padro skillfully saved the ball. Judas Icardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Jayvier in the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Fcion C.A.'s Ignacio Guillelme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Padro. Samuel Padro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. When Abelardo Perico came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Fcion C.A. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Perico couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Marcial Jayvier got a free kick in the 87th minute. Samuel Padro came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Fcion C.A.'s Ignacio Guillelme. But to his dismay, Ignacio Guillelme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Mercedes's Samuel Padro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Mercedes from getting a goal against them. Judas Icardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Jayvier in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Fcion C.A. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mercedes.
