In the 11th minute, Artemio Iratze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luganeros AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Alejo Jerardo with Adolfo Diaz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Albino Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Jokin in the 19th minute of play. Ariel Burko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Alejo Gaspard made a huge save. In the 27th minute, Carmelo Jokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Nofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alejo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Diaz in the 29th minute of play. Adolfo Diaz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejo Gaspard came out and tried to block the shot, but Adolfo Diaz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 36th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Burko made a kick off. Alejo Jerardo made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adolfo Diaz immediately put the ball in play. Alejo Gaspard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Burko in the 54th minute of the match. Albino Nofre was a little too slow when Artemio Iratze got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 2-3. The supporters of Talleres booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Burko in the 64th minute of play. Talleres were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Luganeros AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernando Laurgain took the corner. The corner ended in Primitivo Fidele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard did a great save. Talleres's Albino Nofre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Talleres from getting a goal against them. After 69 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Barrionuevo. In the 78th minute, Eustacio Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talleres's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Artemio Iratze scored to the left of an out of position Albino Nofre, making the score, 2-4. Freddy Gartxot hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 86 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Arlo. Alejo Gaspard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Laurgain in the 86th minute of play. Eustacio Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Ariel Burko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
