Eloy Raymundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Iruinea having to make a save. 9 minutes into the game, Gervasio Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soda f c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Hermoso Beach the free kick. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Xacintu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cornelio Iruinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Cambranes in the 10th minute of the match. Cornelio Iruinea came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Albano Cambranes. But to his dismay, Albano Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cornelio Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Raymundo in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Soda f c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Pabla to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Joaquin Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Soda f c booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fidel Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Celestino Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien got control of the ball when Celestino Nazario tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 36th minute, Soda f c's Haroldo Pirmin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Haroldo Pirmin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soda f c protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Haroldo Pirmin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Soda f c:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monte Hermoso Beach:s goal. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Monte Hermoso Beach. Efrain Etxatxu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cornelio Iruinea. 0-2. Fidel Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Gaztea in the 41st minute of play. Inocencio Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Inocencio Gaztea made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Timoteo Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Hermoso Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Ermengol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eloy Raymundo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Augusto Emenon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Oscar Artal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cornelio Iruinea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eloy Raymundo scored 0-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Iruinea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Augusto Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Monte Hermoso Beach booed when Soda f c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Soda f c's Enzo Otoniel got a free kick in the 90th minute. Albano Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Soda f c's goalkeeper Cornelio Iruinea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Monte Hermoso Beach supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Monte Hermoso Beach would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
