In the 42nd minute, Monte Hermoso Beach's Efrain Etxatxu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Efrain Etxatxu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Monte Hermoso Beach protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Efrain Etxatxu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monte Hermoso Beach! In the 47th minute, Enzo Otoniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Lorien was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Gregorio Bastian made the kick off in the second half. Albano Cambranes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Monte Hermoso Beach's Fidel Lorien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Izel in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute of the match Soda f c got a corner. Monte Hermoso Beach's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ambrosio Izel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Soda f c's Augusto Emenon getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Eloy Raymundo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Raymundo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eloy Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Gregorio Bastian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 74th minute Gregorio Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Iruinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Timoteo Ermengol got a free kick in the 77th minute. Celestino Nazario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Fidel Lorien made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Pereyra during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Otoniel came free, but Fidel Lorien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Soda f c's Inocencio Gaztea in 88 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fidel Lorien guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Fidel Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Gaztea in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Soda f c eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
