Niceto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Raulo in the 9th minute of play. Lino Madeo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Baldomero Sustrai hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prudencio Raulo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Eztebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute Astor Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Raulo in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Prudencio Raulo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Eztebe was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Timoteo Gerazan's late challenge caught a Reconquistense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Ugutz was slow to take the kick. During this time Reconquistense FC's players had a chance to rest. Reconquistense FC's Iker Ugutz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niceto Eztebe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 43rd minute of the match Everardo Onofre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Eztebe skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute, Astor Ler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Reconquistense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Madeo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Lino Madeo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Niceto Eztebe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
