Florencio Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Eztebe having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Húsares's goalkeeper Niceto Eztebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Felipillo in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Eztebe saved Húsares from getting behind. The corner led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Tore-Andre Flø getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 30 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalkeeper Cayetano Dantae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Quilino. In the 31st minute, Jonas Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Dominguez during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Niceto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tore-Andre Flø, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Florencio Felipillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Húsares's Niceto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Felipillo in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Húsares booed when C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Santiago Gentiletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Húsares's Hilario Madaleno shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cayetano Dantae but with some difficulty. In the 44th minute, Florencio Felipillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.U.E. DE COMERCIO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After the first half C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Quilino to strike the kick off in the second half. Norberto Cebo's late challenge caught a Húsares's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto Cebo helped the player get up and apologised. Niceto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Felipillo in the 58th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Tore-Andre Flø got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Húsares's goalkeeper Niceto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tore-Andre Flø. After a defensive mix-up in Húsares's zone, Tore-Andre Flø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Eztebe came out of the goal and Tore-Andre Flø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Húsares's Niceto Eztebe got control of the ball when Tore-Andre Flø tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
