When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Florencio Felipillo sped through Los up up's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermengildo Maureo. Cayetano Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Dantae made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Paz in the 11th minute. If Florencio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Los up up's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Felipillo came free, but Hermengildo Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Florencio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Paz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Dantae read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bonifacio Taurino who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bonifacio Taurino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cayetano Dantae quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Hermengildo Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Felipillo in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Florencio Felipillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Maureo was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After having played for 34 minutes, Florencio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Felipillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florencio Felipillo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hermengildo Maureo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.U.E. DE COMERCIO. When C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Florencio Felipillo in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los up up's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tore-Andre Flø to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Gualterio Beila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los up up's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.U.E. DE COMERCIO the free kick. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Norberto Normando was substituted for Arnoldo Chaime. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Felipillo in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Maureo saved Los up up from getting behind. Florencio Felipillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Maureo made a huge save. Hermengildo Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Felipillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Los up up's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Tore-Andre Flø scored to the left of an out of position Hermengildo Maureo, making the score, 0-3. In the 70th minute, Tore-Andre Flø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermengildo Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Florencio Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Maureo having to interfere. Los up up's Hermengildo Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Los up up from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Igor Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Los up up's zone, Florencio Felipillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Maureo came out of the goal and Florencio Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Tore-Andre Flø notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Los up up's Hermengildo Maureo. Hermengildo Maureo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Florencio Felipillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Felipillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Los up up fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
