In the 22nd minute Martin Silvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Sanchez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Silvino in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Sutura getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paulo Donzel hit a great ball. Silvio Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Delmiro Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Leguizamón in the 34th minute of play. Rolando Sanchez made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Jørgen Waage sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Jørgen Waage made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Sanchez. Sutura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Rolando Sanchez threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Martin Silvino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jørgen Waage to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jørgen Waage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Sanchez was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Felipe Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Elorri in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sutura players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atletico Calamar Saavedra.
