Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jørgen Waage got the match started through his kick off. Areco FC's Eduard Bernátek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Nel in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Jørgen Waage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Miro. Feliberto Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Eduard Bernátek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Miro in the 21st minute of the match. Igor Cristofor struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Felipe Guzman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Areco FC. After 23 minutes of play, Areco FC's Sixto Bernaldo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Guzman was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Nel in the 26th minute of play forced Areco FC's goalkeeper Eduard Bernátek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Areco FC's Sixto Bernaldo in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Eduard Bernátek managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Jørgen Waage fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eduard Bernátek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Eduard Bernátek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jørgen Waage showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Wang Ning Qing was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Calamar Saavedra the free kick. Emmanuel Santiago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduard Bernátek. Areco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Bernaldo in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Guzman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Areco FC were awarded a corner. Mauricio Argider went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Benja Dominguez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Felipe Guzman did a great save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sixto Bernaldo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Cristofor could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Felipe Guzman however easily saved by the left post. In the 56th minute of the match, Sixto Bernaldo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Felipe Guzman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Felipe Guzman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Feliberto Olentzaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico Calamar Saavedra and the Areco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Olentzaro. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Cristofor could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Felipe Guzman however easily saved by the left post. 65 minutes into the match, Areco FC's Igor Cristofor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Guzman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felipe Guzman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Cristofor in the 66th minute. Felipe Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Sixto Bernaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Guzman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Herminio Cresencio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Eduard Bernátek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Eduard Bernátek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Waage in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Mambru in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Bernátek saved Areco FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Silvio Miro got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Areco FC's Sixto Bernaldo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The Areco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Areco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
