Amador Mendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Baleren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Dante Gabirel took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Leonardo Gartzea to make any attempt to save it. Juniors FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Daniel Argina scored to the left of an out of position Leonardo Gartzea, making the score, 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Leonardo Gartzea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute, Ricardo Baleren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amador Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Leonardo Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Argina in the 44th minute of the match. Daniel Argina kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Roland Gessinger made the kick off in the second half. Amador Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Gessinger in the 52nd minute of play.
