Stig Emander might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calistrat Păsărin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Emander ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in The Cavern Club's zone, Isaac Selatse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Aballe came out of the goal and Isaac Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calistrat Păsărin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Aballe in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match The Cavern Club got a corner. Trapiche's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernan George ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Shepherd to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Arnas in the 21st minute of play forced Trapiche's goalkeeper Calistrat Păsărin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Honorio Ongile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trapiche and the The Cavern Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trapiche's goalkeeper Calistrat Păsărin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calistrat Păsărin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Emander's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Angel Aballe notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Trapiche's Calistrat Păsărin. Calistrat Păsărin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Trapiche's Fabian Atarratze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Prospero Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Prospero Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Garcia in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaroslaw Gleba to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 50 in the game by Stig Emander from a close distance when the talented Calistrat Păsărin managed to make a qualified save. Trapiche's players were relieved. With his leg Calistrat Păsărin managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when The Cavern Club's Anselmo Arnas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ubaldo Shepherd hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The Cavern Club's Fermin Sein was substituted for Feliciano Lluis. After 56 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Shepherd. Trapiche's Calistrat Păsărin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Aballe in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Gleba came free, but Prospero Aballe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Selatse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prospero Aballe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Trapiche's Isaac Selatse made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Aballe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Isaac Selatse fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trapiche's protests and gave Isaac Selatse a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Trapiche got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Selatse. Trapiche made a substitution. Alejandro Otsoa replaced Jaroslaw Gleba. In the 76th match minute, Trapiche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Selatse to maneuver through the defense. Ubaldo Shepherd hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Atarratze in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute Isaac Selatse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Arnas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Calistrat Păsărin made a huge save. Felipe Garcia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Stig Emander struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Calistrat Păsărin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Cavern Club. Prospero Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Paraense in the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Cavern Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trapiche.
