Fulgencio Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Mundo in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Amador Mundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Intxixu. Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Mundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Barrilete Cósmico's Jonatan Salvatore got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Orkatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Fernando Tab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Gaufred. Fulgencio Intxixu came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Barrilete Cósmico's Epifanio Orkatz. But to his dismay, Epifanio Orkatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Marcelino Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st match minute, Barrilete Cósmico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Dalmau to maneuver through the defense. Cirilo Llorenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Marcelino Abreu in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th play minute Marcelino Abreu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fernando Tab. 1-2. Marcelino Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fernando Tab made a huge save. When Amador Mundo came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Barrilete Cósmico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amador Mundo couldn't finish the play. Astor Gaufred's late challenge caught a Barrilete Cósmico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Gaufred helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Astor Gaufred hit a great ball. Braulio Loi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Intxixu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Abreu in the 43rd minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Fernando Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Barrilete Cósmico got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Orkatz. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Marcelino Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fernando Tab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonatan Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Honorato Peio hit a great ball. Jonas Perrando hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Barrilete Cósmico's Fernando Tab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Abreu in the 79th minute of play. When Đ∈p○rㄒﺃν○ ∈kдㄒ○m√'s Marcelino Abreu in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrilete Cósmico's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Barrilete Cósmico defense, Raimundo Videl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Tab. The Barrilete Cósmico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Tab should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Barrilete Cósmico getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jonatan Salvatore hit a great ball.
