The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Pudes came free, but Gilberto Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Adolfo Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Silbestre in the 26th minute of play forced ★Independiente Ψ★'s goalkeeper Ermegildo Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Miro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Asur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Frascuelo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilberto Nofre. That made the score 1-1 in the 36 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Gorbea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gilberto Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lino Arnau hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes, ★Independiente Ψ★'s Amador Bertran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gilberto Nofre came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ★Independiente Ψ★ reached it. A collision led to C.A.Esparta getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Carolo Solustiano hit a great ball. Teodosio Pudes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Nofre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Ceferino Miro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Asur. Ceferino Miro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The supporters of ★Independiente Ψ★ booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carolo Solustiano came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the C.A.Esparta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Solustiano couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Marcelino Jurdan charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Jurdan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Solustiano got free with Ermegildo Asur in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Although ★Independiente Ψ★ had been in control for most of the match, C.A.Esparta still came away with the win.
