The referee showed Nemesio Lauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Trinidad 4.7's Nemesio Lauro got a free kick in the 6th minute. If Leo Ochoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Nazario was a little too slow when Celestino Basualdo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Orzaize got free with Hugo Nazario in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Esquipula hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Hugo Nazario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Ochoa in the 22nd minute of the match. Leo Ochoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Nazario having to make a save. Celestino Basualdo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Hugo Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Trinidad 4.7's Leo Ochoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Nazario. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. If Eleuterio Frederico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Guter to make the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Trinidad 4.7's Leo Ochoa made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Nazario was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute Leo Ochoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Nazario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vinará FC defense, Leo Ochoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Nazario. The Vinará FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Nazario should have stopped the shot.
