The audience was convinced that Leo Ochoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Nazario was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Ochoa came free, but Hugo Nazario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Basualdo in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Trinidad 4.7 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Orzaize got free with Hugo Nazario in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustin Illan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Leo Ochoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hugo Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Trinidad 4.7 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vinará FC throughout the match.
