Nunez Arias went to the cornerflag to take it. 11 minutes into the match, Niceto Lore notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tobias Elizardo. Tobias Elizardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 14 minutes into the game, Nunez Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tobias Elizardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zacarias Silbestre hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A nice corner shot did that Hernan Sarmento got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gerardo Beila quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Nunez Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Elizardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Siro Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Beila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basilio Mateus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Mateus in the 59th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Gerardo Beila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Mateus came free, but Gerardo Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Nunez Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Siro Elazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gerardo Beila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
