In the 19th minute, Emil Dunajski made a precise shot to the right of Edmund Drugi. Olimpia Koło's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Olimpia Koło's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Dunajski came free, but Edmund Drugi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Drugi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Pająk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olimpia Koło's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jiang Sang Qing was slow to take the kick. During this time Abandon All Hope's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th match minute, Olimpia Koło was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witalis Obuchowicz to maneuver through the defense. Jiang Sang Qing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edmund Drugi. Olimpia Koło's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40th minute, Andrzej Gollob got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Jan Pająk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Drugi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Abandon All Hope were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrzej Gollob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Olimpia Koło getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Dunajski got free with Edmund Drugi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leszek Czysty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meng Yan Jing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Edmund Drugi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Pająk went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Lampe in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Olimpia Koło's Radomil Lampe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Meng Yan Jing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Iwo Czeszyk kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Meng Yan Jing showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zbyszko Budarz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Jiang Sang Qing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrzej Gollob was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Edmund Drugi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedê de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abandon All Hope played a much better game than Olimpia Koło and deserved their victory. The Olimpia Koło players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
