Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jurand Jazowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Abandon All Hope from getting a goal against them. After 42 played minutes, Abandon All Hope's Artur Marajda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roch Wawrukiewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abandon All Hope reached it. After some careless play in the Zjem Cię defense, Emil Dunajski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roch Wawrukiewicz. The Zjem Cię fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roch Wawrukiewicz should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jurand Jazowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abandon All Hope's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
