The supporters of Ave Silesia booed when KoLiber was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Palzewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiktor Maruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Ekaitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiktor Maruda ran back to his position shaking his head. 6 minutes into the game, Bogdan Lichniak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KoLiber's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ave Silesia the free kick. Ave Silesia's Marcin Bronicki was substituted for Wiktor Maruda. In the 8th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Lichniak to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedykt Trzemzalski in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zula Pilipiec saved Ave Silesia from getting behind. Benedykt Trzemzalski scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zula Pilipiec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Radomil Andryszyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Radomil Andryszyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KoLiber's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Andryszyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomil Andryszyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zula Pilipiec having to interfere. A collision led to Ave Silesia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Boruc Tychy hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Benedykt Trzemzalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Pilipiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Benedykt Trzemzalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zula Pilipiec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 41st minute, Benedykt Trzemzalski made a precise shot to the right of Zula Pilipiec. Ave Silesia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 44th minute Radomil Andryszyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zula Pilipiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcin Bronicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Ave Silesia's goalkeeper Zula Pilipiec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomil Andryszyn. Iwan Dobrzechowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariusz Pieknik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Marcin Bronicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, KoLiber's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Dobrzechowski came free, but Fulgencio Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Owsiak hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ave Silesia were furious when Boruc Tychy was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Zula Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Trzemzalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Bogdan Lichniak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Mariusz Pieknik shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Ekaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Benedykt Trzemzalski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zula Pilipiec firmly grabbed it by the left post. KoLiber's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
