Zenon Fabiszak made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Miromir Gmoch sent off a good shot on target. Radomir Kosiorek took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franciszek Wojtyna. Franciszek Wojtyna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Radomir Kosiorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leszek Ruzicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Franciszek Wojtyna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Antoni Galagan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, MS Rybnik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Ryback to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Fabiszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Spychalski in the 40th minute of the match. Zenon Fabiszak came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by MS Rybnik's Marek Spychalski. But to his dismay, Marek Spychalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Adam Paraszczuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zenon Fabiszak. Pogoń1945Staszów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Paraszczuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leszek Ruzicki was the one to do the kick off. Michal Dobrowski took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zenon Fabiszak. Zenon Fabiszak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. If Leszek Hludzenski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Leszek Ruzicki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń1945Staszów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MS Rybnik the free kick. In the 67th minute Miromir Gmoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Fabiszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, MS Rybnik's Leszek Hludzenski made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zenon Fabiszak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zenon Fabiszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Dobrowski in the 80th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Miromir Gmoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenon Fabiszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zenon Fabiszak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Gmoch, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Zenon Fabiszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Gmoch in the 93rd minute of the match. After 96 minutes, Adam Paraszczuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MS Rybnik and the Pogoń1945Staszów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Adam Paraszczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MS Rybnik fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pogoń1945Staszów had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
