Filipo Inzaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ziemowit Lipinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 9th play minutes Filipo Inzaghi shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Ziemowit Lipinski and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wincenty Mocko in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ziemowit Lipinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipo Inzaghi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Ziemowit Lipinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ziemowit Lipinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 25 minutes into the match, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lipinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipo Inzaghi. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Bara in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Wincenty Mocko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezary Sitko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Modrzewski in the 42nd minute of play. Ziemowit Lipinski was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Wincenty Mocko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincenty Mocko really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Filipo Inzaghi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipo Inzaghi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patryk Lizewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filipo Inzaghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Ziemowit Lipinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the LKS Wasik Lidzbark defense, Filipo Inzaghi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziemowit Lipinski. The LKS Wasik Lidzbark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziemowit Lipinski should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goal looked a bit too open when Idacio Helguera came free, but Ziemowit Lipinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziemowit Lipinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobald Gregorczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Jedrzej Szpakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 86th minute Filipo Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Lipinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ziemowit Lipinski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipo Inzaghi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Idacio Helguera scored 7-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziemowit Lipinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, MKS Mazur Ełk's Filipo Inzaghi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziemowit Lipinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the LKS Wasik Lidzbark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MKS Mazur Ełk.
