Sylwester Zatorski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Puzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Michal Puzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Domalik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Seward United's Sylwester Zatorski. Sylwester Zatorski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Seward United's Eugeniusz Sadlowski got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Bialski Bastion Legii's Boguslaw Bartochowski in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seward United's goalie prevented a goal. In the 24th minute, Wit Soliwoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Janusz Werra fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seward United's protests and gave Janusz Werra a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Seward United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Janusz Werra hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Bialski Bastion Legii's Jerzy Gonsiewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Zatorski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Boguslaw Bartochowski sped through Seward United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sylwester Zatorski. A collision led to Seward United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Izydor Mazurkiewicz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Seward United's zone, Zbigniew Domalik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Zatorski came out of the goal and Zbigniew Domalik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Jerzy Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Zatorski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Seward United's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Domalik came free, but Sylwester Zatorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Seward United's goalkeeper Sylwester Zatorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbigniew Domalik. Marian Radziszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sylwester Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Zbigniew Domalik put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Sylwester Zatorski. Seward United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zbigniew Domalik 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Puzio got free with Sylwester Zatorski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerzy Gonsiewski took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylwester Zatorski. Sylwester Zatorski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Roman Plachetka came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Seward United's Slawomir Ramzinski. But to his dismay, Slawomir Ramzinski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jerzy Gonsiewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bialski Bastion Legii's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerzy Gonsiewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylwester Zatorski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the game, Bialski Bastion Legii's Jerzy Gonsiewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sylwester Zatorski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. Sylwester Zatorski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Puzio went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Seward United's goalkeeper Sylwester Zatorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boguslaw Bartochowski. After some careless play in the Seward United defense, Zbigniew Domalik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Zatorski. The Seward United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Zatorski should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Seward United's Eugeniusz Sadlowski got a free kick in the 94th minute.
