Waldemar Rybak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 9 minutes into the game, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Lucjan Michalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Rybak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Konrad Lewicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Waldemar Rybak made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Milenium's zone, Adam Mnich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Rybak came out of the goal and Adam Mnich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Waldemar Rybak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Frodyma, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Lewicki. GKS Milenium's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mieszko Frodyma 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Waldemar Rybak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Frodyma in the 34th minute of the match. Mieszko Frodyma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldemar Rybak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Lewicki went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Pawel Bielejewski charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pawel Bielejewski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Waldemar Rybak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Michalski went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Konrad Lewicki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Konrad Lewicki made the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Rybak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Frodyma, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Lewicki came free, but Waldemar Rybak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrzej Makarewicz's late challenge caught a KS Piastów Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrzej Makarewicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when GKS Milenium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Makarewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, GKS Milenium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Makarewicz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Frodyma in the 63rd minute of play forced GKS Milenium's goalkeeper Waldemar Rybak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Rybak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Michalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Lewicki came free, but Waldemar Rybak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Rybak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konrad Lewicki went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Boleslaw Tarasek struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Waldemar Rybak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Piastów Sosnowiec. 92 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Tarasek came free, but Waldemar Rybak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Rybak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Lewicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Konrad Lewicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Rybak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that KS Piastów Sosnowiec were the better team. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
