Zbyszek Fink ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, CHEMSY's Emil Tylenda got control of the ball when Maksymilian Hodas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Wlodzimierz Nieruchliwy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waclaw Gurgul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Ludwa having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Keyes got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Burdalski. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of CHEMSY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Keyes:s goal. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Keyes. Gilbert Burdalski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emil Tylenda. 1-1. Zbyszek Fink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Maksymilian Hodas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emil Tylenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind CHEMSY's goalkeeper Emil Tylenda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, CHEMSY's goal looked a bit too open when Maksymilian Hodas came free, but Emil Tylenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maksymilian Hodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zbyszek Fink came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the CHEMSY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Fink couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in CHEMSY's zone, Boruc Sidorowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Tylenda came out of the goal and Boruc Sidorowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maksymilian Hodas struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Emil Tylenda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keyes. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Maksymilian Hodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keyes's supporters rose to their feet, but Maksymilian Hodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Tylenda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CHEMSY were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
