With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Olejasz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Brudnicki. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Edgar Wojton put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Roch Brodzki. Roch Brodzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Brudnicki in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute Marian Wolniewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Olejasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KKS Lech Poznań booed when Silvers Ilkus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. The crowd rose to their feet as Marian Wolniewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Olejasz. That made the score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. After 67 played minutes KKS Lech Poznań got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Dzierwa. Silvers Ilkus's Leszek Cholewa was substituted for Edgar Wojton. Roch Brodzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Brudnicki in the 70th minute of the match. Roch Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Cholewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miromir Budarz in the 72nd minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Olejasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Wolniewicz in the 73rd minute of play. Roch Brodzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Budarz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's Walery Plech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Olejasz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Silvers Ilkus's goal looked a bit too open when Feliks Fafinski came free, but Daniel Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Silvers Ilkus reached it. Roch Brodzki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miromir Budarz went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Dziura in the 99th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
