Wit Drab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maciej Rukszcz's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ladislao Gonza might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maciej Polkoski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Gonza ran back to his position shaking his head. Gwidon Golembiewski hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tomasz Gollob took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maciej Polkoski. Agresor Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Gonza to make the kick off. Wit Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Jazwiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
