Andrzej Köpke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Burufski in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Köpke saved Cosmos 1984 NewDance from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfred Drab during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alfred Drab kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. AKS Kozienice's attentive Dobromir Chodzinski managed to snatch the ball when Piotr Bronkala made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Dobromir Chodzinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Andrzej Köpke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Drab in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Köpke saved Cosmos 1984 NewDance from getting behind. When AKS Kozienice's Alfred Drab in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalie prevented a goal. Andrzej Köpke came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by AKS Kozienice's Lucjan Burufski. But to his dismay, Lucjan Burufski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 36 minutes of play, AKS Kozienice's Lucjan Burufski made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrzej Köpke was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Lucjan Burufski managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKS Kozienice's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Burufski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrzej Köpke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cosmos 1984 NewDance defense, Lucjan Burufski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Köpke. The Cosmos 1984 NewDance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Köpke should have stopped the shot. Fryderyk Paraszczuk made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juliusz Ziombkowski. After some careless play in the Cosmos 1984 NewDance defense, Lucjan Burufski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Köpke. The Cosmos 1984 NewDance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Köpke should have stopped the shot. The Cosmos 1984 NewDance players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AKS Kozienice were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Alfred Drab made the kick off in the second half. If Lucjan Burufski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alfred Drab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Jazowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Piotr Bronkala with Fryderyk Paraszczuk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lucjan Burufski took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrzej Köpke. Andrzej Köpke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Burufski in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Köpke saved Cosmos 1984 NewDance from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Burufski got free with Andrzej Köpke in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute AKS Kozienice were awarded a corner. Lucjan Burufski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AKS Kozienice's Lucjan Burufski to fire away a dangerous shot which Andrzej Köpke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos 1984 NewDance's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucjan Burufski was slow to take the kick. During this time AKS Kozienice's players had a chance to rest. In the 81st minute, Cyprian Witwicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wlodzimierz Zagrobelny kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cyprian Witwicki hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cosmos 1984 NewDance's goalkeeper Andrzej Köpke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Lucjan Burufski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrzej Köpke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cosmos 1984 NewDance booed when AKS Kozienice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Burufski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Lucjan Burufski fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded AKS Kozienice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cosmos 1984 NewDance.
